Clyde was recently featured on the cover of “The Best of the Best: A History of the IGL Retriever Championship 1909-2011? with his handler Billy Steel Jr. Clyde managed to qualify for the IGL seven years in a row (2004-2010), a feat only accomplished by one other dog (FTCH Hedenhampark Holcot Fay 1969-1975). Clyde placed 4th in IGL at Lauder in Scottish Borders in 2008. He is the sire of FTCH Leadburn Mist, who earned a D.O.M. and Top Scottish Dog in the 2013 IGL Retriever Championship. Clyde’s sire was FTCH Bracken of Berrybrae, who won the IGL Retriever Championship in 2000. His dam was FTCH Broadlaw Eva.
