All information is provided “as is.” You rely on the information solely at your own risk. No warranty, express or implied, is made regarding the accuracy or fitness of the information for any purpose. You agree to hold the site operator, its successors, or representatives harmless from any claim, liability, or damages arising from use of the site or its information. 3. User Responsibilities You may add new dogs to the database or correct errors you find. The value of this database depends entirely on the quality of user input. The system records when a dog is added or updated, along with the responsible user. Malicious, abusive, or deceptive use is prohibited. If you believe a user is abusing the system, please report it to: infos@ccwdpedigreedatabases.com, including the relevant dog information. 4. Commercial Use, Linking, Automated Access & Data Protection Policy 4.1 Personal / Direct Kennel Linking Permitted You may link to HLP for personal or direct promotional purposes, including sharing a dog’s pedigree on social media, linking from your own personal website, linking from your own kennel, breeder, or trainer website, and including a link in an individual advertisement, listing, or post that you personally create to showcase your own dog or litter. This permission applies only to individual dog owners, breeders, trainers, and kennels linking to their own dogs or pedigrees from websites or social media accounts that they directly own and control. 4.2 Prohibited Without Prior Written Permission No commercial platform, directory, database, listing service, advertising service, marketplace, entry system, AI service, or similar third-party service may incorporate, embed, integrate, scrape, systematically collect, display, store, distribute, or otherwise use HLP links or content as part of its platform, listings, features, submissions, searchable systems, automated workflows, or data processing systems without the express written permission of the site operator, whether the service is paid or free. 4.3 Examples of Prohibited Uses Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, dog or litter listing platforms that include pedigree links, online entry systems that allow or encourage pedigree linking, aggregator websites compiling dog data, AI training systems using pedigree data, and any directory, database, or advertising platform that integrates or accepts pedigree links as part of its user-generated content. 4.4 Automated Access, Scraping & Data Extraction Prohibited HLP is a privately operated database. Unauthorized automated access is strictly prohibited. You may not use any automated system, software, script, bot, crawler, spider, scraper, AI tool, data mining tool, or other automated or semi-automated means to access, monitor, copy, download, extract, collect, mirror, replicate, or systematically retrieve pedigrees, records, images, or database content from HLP. You may not compile HLP data into another database, directory, listing service, AI model, commercial product, or organized dataset, nor may you circumvent security features, rate limits, login systems, or other technical protections. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the access is for commercial, research, nonprofit, AI training, or personal purposes. Manual browsing by individual users for normal viewing and personal use is permitted. Systematic, repetitive, bulk, or automated data collection is not permitted. 4.5 No Derivative Databases or Competitive Use You may not create, compile, publish, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise use any portion of HLP data to build, support, enhance, or operate a derivative database, competing pedigree service, listing platform, directory, AI model, analytics tool, or commercial product. A “derivative database” includes any database, dataset, listing, compilation, structured collection, or organized body of information created in whole or in part from data obtained from HLP, whether copied directly, scraped, reformatted, summarized, reorganized, or combined with other data. This restriction applies regardless of whether the resulting database or service is offered for free or for payment. 4.6 Enforcement The site operator reserves the right to block IP addresses or access sources, restrict or terminate user accounts, implement technical countermeasures, issue takedown demands, and seek damages or pursue legal remedies where appropriate. Use of HLP constitutes acceptance of these restrictions. 5. Certified Health Testing Information such as OFA, CERF, CNM, EIC, or other certified testing results should only be entered as “Cleared,” “Normal,” or “Carrier,” with health clearance numbers that correspond to the appropriate certification organization. Health clearance data must match what is publicly available through the certifying organization’s database. If you post information that is false, misleading, or violates the legal confidentiality rights of a dog’s owner, you (the submitting user) may be held legally responsible. HuntingLabPedigree.com keeps records of what information is entered and by whom. 6. International Users This database is primarily based on American and Canadian registries.
