Dude is a very handsome, intelligent, and muscular boy, with an ON/OFF switch like no other. In the field he is a tenacious hunter, quiet as a mouse, steady as a statue, a fantastic marker, and runs blinds as hard as he does marks.
Inside, he prefers the left side of the bed over the couch and enjoys snuggling with other canine and feline siblings.
Dude represents the hard to find combination of PET and PERFORMANCE with the indoor temperament of a elderly lap dog and the outsider performance of a fire breathing dragon. In Upland, he quarters naturally and sits to flush/shot.
In the past 12 months, Dude has accomplished the following :
• Passed the Spring 2021 HRC Grand
• Passed 6 Straight AKC Master Hunt tests to earn his Master Hunter title
• Passed the 2021 AKC Master National without a handle all week
• Passed 6 straight HRC Finished tests
• Passed the 2022 Spring Grand without a handle all week to earn is Grand Hunt Retriever Champion title.
• Finished first SRS event in Nebraska he entered (4th)
• Finished the 1st AKC Qual entered (4th series )
• He is 81-82lbs at working weight.
• Passed the Fall 2022 Grand on 2's ( again) without a handle all week and sat to flush in Upland.
