Freddy is fully amateur trained and handled and only competes in about 10-12 events per year that are local to his owner. At only 5 years old he has 34.5 AA points and qualified and ran both the Amateur National FT and the National FT in 2025, a impressive record for a dog that is completely amateur trained and handled by someone who is not retired or who does this for a living. Freddy is a very intelligent, calm, collected dog who's owner often describes him as the ultimate team player and an FC with Grand level control at the line.
Iris is also amateur trained and handled and when's she's not training, testing and being a my family's house dog she works full time guiding with her co-owner John Shue in Oklahoma picking up cranes, geese and ducks all fall. Iris has been a true joy to train and stand over at the line. She is a very biddable dog who shares those desirable traits of being intelligent, calm, and collected who loves to work!
The goal of this breeding is to create talented dogs with similar traits and composition to their lineage. I expect these puppies to be able to do anything you desire in a working lab whether that be field trails, SRS, HRC, AKC or obedience. Both of these dogs are a joy to be around and train and I expect nothing different from the pups. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional information, photos or videos.
I will be accepting six deposits, three of each sex. First and Second pick female have been spoken for leaving the 3rd pick female still available. 1-3 pick males are still available at this time. Puppies are planning to be whelped in North Dallas and I will be traveling from Dallas to Fort Wayne, IN and can deliver pups along the way.
