These pups are sure to excel in any retriever competition, as well as be wonderful hunting companions and family pets. Both parents have excellent work ethics and are easily trained, making them ideal for amateur trainers. Toombs is an accomplished dog, as reflected in his impressive titles. Notably, he placed 2nd in the Open at the 2024 Super Retriever Crown Championship. He’s a larger male, weighing around 80 lbs.
Annie, weighing about 55 lbs, is a smaller, highly driven female. I’ve run her in 2 Derbys, and she earned a Jam in both. I’m planning to run her in the 2025 Fall Grand and some Qualifiers alongside her mom, Sky. Annie is calm and quiet on the line, fast and hard-charging on marks and blinds, yet easily controlled. She lives in the house and has a great off switch.
