The Jazztime Labrador program always impressed me with their success in non-slip retriever trials (America and Canada) but also wild upland and waterfowl hunting in the western portion of the United States. Jazztime dogs were always very talented and trainable, and with the passing of Larry and Anna Calvert it would be my honor to try and continue any Jazztime genetics that I can. Each sector of this pedigree contains strong field trial and hunt test retrievers known to point upland birds and be exceptional dogs in every facet. From wild bird dogs, waterfowl hunters, testing and trialing this pedigree contains known players, and known producers. “Chase” was a very successful field trial dog in both America and Canada. He was on the Derby List, QAA at 2 years of age and qualified for 8 Canadian nationals in just 4 years. Including American national events, he qualified for a total of 12 nationals and was a finalist in the 2015 National Open. He had a total of 60 AA points, 7 wins, and 52 finishes! All of that aside, he was a fantastic upland and waterfowl hunter who was laid back in the house and the ultimate companion to Paul Hansen, his owner. "Ryan Eder Southfork Retrievers" |
