Ice needs little to no introduction as he has solidified himself with many of the greats in the retriever world with a growing list of accomplishments at a young age with offspring already following closely in his footsteps achieving HRCHs and other titles at young ages. Most impressively, he has done these as amateur owned/trained/handled dog while being a great house dog. When speaking with Mr Templeton about Ice, the biggest thing that hit home for me was his trainability and enjoyment of a challenge. Ice weighs ~55-57 pounds.
Beth is a very high drive, pocket rocket female who excels in a variety of sport venues while also being amateur owned/trained/handled. She is the type of dog who always offers 110% and does everything with speed, but is still able to have the off switch to be a great house dog when she’s not working. She is a very gritty, task-focused dog with a lot of mental stamina to work as long or as frequently as you ask of her. While she has competed in a variety of performance sports, our training focuses have been on shed hunting, dock diving, and scent detection with titles in 7 different sports across multiple associations earning high honors in every game she’s played along the way; she will continue to train and trial after the litter. She is steady with gunfire and runs multiple marks well, I just haven’t buckled down to do blind work with her to work on more waterfowl titles (human problem, not a dog problem). Her littermates are working in both waterfowl and shed hunting. She runs 45-47 pounds and is 19.75” tall.
Pups should remain smaller in size with athletic builds. Litter is expected around Nov 20. Puppies will be raised in our home with ENS and ESI. Litter will be AKC/UKC registered with 30 month health guarantee. |
