Owned, trained, and handled by Tracy Wight – FC AFC Wight’s The Dark Side (Vader) is an EXCELLENT MARKER, Consistent, High Drive, and a Team Player. Watching Vader run you can see the focus on line, he locks in the location and remembers each mark. He completed 9 series of the 2023 National Amateur without a handle and qualified for the 2023 National Open! Vader earned Reserve JAM in a 92 dog very competitive Open in April 2024 at 10 years old. In 2022 Vader had a 90% completion rate in Opens! He also had numerous placements including back-to-back BLUES and 6 second places in 2022. He runs equally fast on blinds as he does marks. Tracy notes Vader has the best water attitude on marks and blinds of any retriever she has ever owned. He is highly intelligent, and it shows in his accomplishments! He has proven to be Mr. Consistent and has an amazing trial record! Vader is a proven producer of healthy beautiful, talented pups. Vader had a complete Health Panel run through EMBARK and is in perfect health in all current testable genetic issues.

Amateur trained and handled through basics, professionally trained and handled through advanced work and testing due to my work schedule and locations. Her drive is extremely high, however she controls it with focus when it’s time to work. Mia LOVES to run long, it’s in her blood, she’s a field trial dog running hunt test! She’s a very loving goofball with a TON of personality when she is off duty. She has a fantastic off switch. Clean in the kennel, perfect in the house!
