What's very exciting about this pairing is that in the 3 generation pedigree of the puppies, the amount of top breeders and individual dogs that are legends in the world of Labradors that naturally point. Baier labs, Cooperstown Kennels, Cornstalker Pointing Labs, Northstar Pointing Labs, and Sweet Whislin Kennels. Not to mention individual dogs from Field trial lines that point and throw point, Moose, Pirate, and Button. We have very high hopes for this litter to produces very talented and accomplished pups, especially in the upland, but lacking nothing in retrieving work.

Penny is 6 years old has a great on/off switch from the field to relaxing a home. She has been in the field since her first fall. Her 58 pound frame is just the right size for upland hunting, sitting in the duck blind, and snuggling on the couch. Penny’s hunting season begins each September in the dove fields before migrating north to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula chasing grouse and woodcock. She has made yearly trips to Iowa pheasant hunting and hunts wild quail in Indiana and Kentucky before the winter migration of ducks finally shows up in Southern Indiana. She won't quit in the field. |
