During this time, their enthusiasm for yellow Labradors was already kindled ablaze and she earned a yellow bitch named "Dunskey Jean", which was created in 1921 and descended from the Dukes of Buccleuch Labradors imported.

A short time later they acquired still an eight-month-old son of "Dunskey Jean" by a Gamekeeper in Perthshire, she let the register as "Western Reiver". With him she had some show and field trial results before they sold it in 1927 to America. These two males as stud dog they built on their breeding line.
