Koba is a 75-80 pound dog who's sire is of show lines and who's damn is from show and field lines. He has that calm demeanor and block head of an english style dog with the drive and ability of an american style dog. Even as a bigger dog, he works as an upland guide dog 8 months out of the year and consistently puts up good numbers. During duck season he sits quietly in his blind waiting to retrieve any downed bird that is presented.
My very first dog and entirely amateur trained, he has shown he can play the hunt test game exceptionally well. He is currently 8 for 10 in AKC tests with both fails coming from a test where someone else handled him and is currently 8 for 8 in HRC tests with one more pass needed for his HRCH.
