Evah took to the scent detection sport at a very early age. At 7 monhts old, Evah past all three odors on the same day for her National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) odor recognition title (ORT). She is among the youngest dogs ever to achieve this recognition. By the time she was 18 months old she earned her NACSW Nosework 1 (NW1), Nosework 2 (NW2) and had a qualifying score for her Nosework 3 (NW3) titles. Along the way, she earned 4 element placements!
Also by 18 months old, she earned numerous AKC titles including - Scentwork Interior Novice (SIN), Container Novice (SCN), Exterior Novice (SEN), Buried Novice (SBN), Scentwork Novice (SWN) Interior Advanced (SIA), Container Advanced (SCA), Exterior Advanced (SEA), Buried Advanced (SBA), Scentwork Advanced (SWA) and Interior Excellent (SIE). During these AKC appearances in scentwork she earned 16 first place finishes with fields of 10-22 teams!
Evah is working in AKC obedience and rally and has one leg in Beginner Novice Obedience.
She earned Canine Good Citizen in fall 2023 and enjoys running in Fast CAT. |
