During her first two years of training she has proven to be extremely trainable, has a great nose, and is a natural pointer. Her first weekend afield (at 15 months) she held some picture perfect points on pheasants, and on the duck season opener she retrieved 52 out of 52 ducks knocked down in front of her. Her temperament has made her the perfect house dog, and her personality has made her my constant companion. For a lab she is a more athletic field trial version and weighs in at 70 pounds, but her square head and thick chest make her unmistakably labrador. Juneau was bred by Tom and Sue Ross of Oregon Retrievers in Medford, OR. (541) 773-9690.
